Hi there! I’m Nate Craddock and apparently you’re as confused about this site as I am. I can tell you this though, it’s pretty much a free form collection of my creative pieces, thoughts and cool things I’ve found online.
So who am I. Well basics are born in ‘75, grew up in Sacramento, went to college at NYU, and live in LA.
More detail … sure, why not. So I started this site a few years back to have a quick and dirty place to post some of my cartoons and projects. I got side tracked for a while as one of my cartoons, Super Console Wars, took on a life of it’s own. Garnering a win at SXSW and racking up over 2,000,000 views. I’ve continued to work on new segments of Super Console Wars, but it’s just taking way too long and I’ve got tons of other ideas I want to explore.
That’s where the new site comes into play. Over the past few months I’ve been following and
beeing followed on Twitter. There’s something really interesting about it. Tons of tiny bites of information flowing constantly, some worthwhile and some not.
Then I had the a ha! My cartoons and creative endeavors would benefit from a constraint, smoothing that Super Console Wars had long since abandoned. I decided that the constraint should be something produced each week with a minimum of 30 seconds long and 120 seconds maximum. So I’ve revamped the site to mirror these ideas, and am embarking on an interesting experiment, namely being how long can I keep up that output. We shall see, though I’ve got at least 20 ideas in the pipeline at the moment.
P.S. For those of you on Internet Explorer 6 you’re missing out. I had to make a unique style sheet just for IE and it’s really dumb looking compared to what it looks like in Safari, Firefox, and even IE 7. Do yourself a favor and update to one of those other browsers, besides how old is IE 6? It’s old as dirt in computer years.
